Friday's Flowers
On the trip we traveled the weather gamut, from summer to autumn to winter. Although we never stepped into any snow, we did see plenty of it. On the whole, temperatures stayed in the autumn range, with minor forays into winter and summer.
San Francisco was our last port of call before disembarking in San Diego. Joe wasn't feeling his best that day (I told him he's just not used to two weeks vacation away from work), so we only wandered down to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. It was lovely and sunny and the flowers on Pier 39 were blooming away.
In most of the country, fall is in full force, and my flowers here, the ones that haven't already croaked, don't have long to go. But here in SF, as you can see, the blooming season still has a long way to go. Does it ever stop blooming in California?
